Radar antennas in front of and on the roof of building 330º-150º

Function:

Test, repair, up-grade, modification, up-date,  and evaluates existing- and  basic concepts for radar engineering developments in connection with target surveillance, tracking and electronic countermeasures.
(echo/target: toezicht, volgen, en vergelijken; zoals ARPA, TM, CU,HU,NU, OC)

Description:

Antennas are located on the shell/test-container at the roof or elevator for numerous development and product-line radar systems, providing a simulated naval scenario overlooking the IJsselmeer.
Inside the building are the radar control room, transmitters, receivers,the computing/data processing equipment, and radar engineering.

Instrumentation:

Current instrumentation includes: the riverradars JMA605/6/8/9 JRC,
FR2001/2//5 FURUNO,JFS32/364 SWISS, RR1250/2050/2175RACAL-DECCA,Mk4217/5217 SPERRY,SRS1000 KELVIN-HUGHES.
Deep-Sea radars: 340.250/180 Bridge-Master, FR1500/2010/2110 FURUNO
Light-weight radars: JMA1010 JRC, 1831Mk FURUNO,…etc.

Test equipment:

Sophisticated “up to date” test facilities with ROHDE & SCHWARZ
spectrum and signal analysing, TEKTRONIX DSO and AFG, … etc.

The Radar Test Facility is located at the Krabbersgat in the building 330º-150º  on the shore line of the IJsselmeer.  Position: 52º41’31” Lt and 005º16’23” Ln
